Before Scientology I was very concerned about my communication with people. I wanted to be able to communicate what I wanted, when I wanted. Unfortunately, I found myself under other's control and not my own. The first thing I did in Scientology was take a communications course and I have never looked back. It totally handled the very thing I had been looking a long time to handle. Along the way I have also rid myself of unwanted emotions and reactions to life and am, therefore, much happier and able to do things in life. My husband and I have been able to create a successful marriage by applying L. Ron Hubbard's technology to our life. I have been married for 9 years and have never regretted a day. In fact, just the other day we were talking about where we would spend our 50th anniversary and I'm already 42! Probably the thing that I learned early on in Scientology has made the most difference and that is how to study and really learn things so that you can APPLY them to your life. I now enjoy studying and learning and know why I had difficulty doing so before (despite the fact that I consider myself to be relatively intelligent). Without this I would not have been able to learn and apply the technology which L. Ron Hubbard developed and which has changed my life.
